Inspection Branch

  • To monitor the administrative functioning of District Panchayat/Taluka Panchayat and Panchayati Raj Training Centers.
  • Conduct annual administrative inspection at regular intervals to verify whether the administrative operations of the Panchayati Raj Institutions are in accordance with the Gujarat Panchayat Act, Rules and standing instructions/orders of the Govt.
  • Formulate a detailed calendar program for Annual Administrative Inspection of District Panchayat / Taluka Panchayat / Panchayati Raj Training Centers.
  • To prepare report after annual administrative inspection of District Panchayat / Taluka Panchayat / Panchayati Raj Training centers.
  • Disposal of Para of Annual Administrative Inspection report of District Panchayat / Taluka Panchayat / Panchayati Raj Training centers.
  • All correspondence related to annual administrative inspection.
